My story is one of turning pain into purpose. THRĒ AKTIV was created during a season of deep healing following a breast cancer diagnosis that reshaped how I think about my body and the materials closest to it.
In the months that followed, I began examining the products in my everyday life more closely questioning the exposures we often normalize without a second thought. I gradually began making thoughtful swaps across my home, my beauty routine, and the products I used daily.
But when I turned my attention to activewear, I encountered something unexpected.
Why Activewear
Was the Hardest Category
Most conventional performance apparel is made from highly synthetic materials and treated with chemical finishes designed for durability and performance yet these fabrics sit directly against the skin during movement, heat, and perspiration.
For a body focused on healing, this no longer felt aligned. And it proved to be the most difficult swap of all.
When I couldn’t find an option that felt both high-performance and thoughtfully made, I decided to build one.
A New Standard

THRĒ AKTIV was created to offer women a new standard activewear designed with both performance and biology in mind, crafted from natural fibers and responsibly developed materials.
These fabrics are designed to perform under heat and friction exactly the conditions created during movement.
The issue is not performance. The issue is biology.
What began as a deeply personal search for alignment became something larger: an opportunity to create healthier options for women and to reimagine what performance wear can be.
